Highest Scout Honor
Recognition Letters

If you are a Scout within the Diocese of Joliet and have earned the highest award from your Scouting organization, the JDCCS, you are invited to request a congratulatory letter from the Bishop. Scouts who have pursued and received Catholic religious recognitions in their journey to the highest Scout owner are especially invited to submit a letter request. 

  • Eagle Scout Award (Scouting America)

  • Girl Scout Gold Award (Girl Scouts of the USA)  

  • Stars and Stripes Award (American Heritage Girls)

 

If you are a Scout who no longer lives in the Diocese of Joliet, please request a congratulatory letter from the Bishop in your local Diocese.

Please submit your letter request as far ahead of your needed date as possible, but please give the Bishop at least 30 days to prepare your letter. Letters are sent from the Diocese, not the JDCCS.
